Let them develop their own unique learning style. Break the idea that the only way to learn is how you are taught in school. Don’t become too attached to tests and results. Stay away from negative influencers who criticize your child’s independent style. Don’t believe everything you hear from people who work in a school District. Do not de facto accept they are doing all they can to help you. Learn to set goals and how to take small steps each day to achieve them.

School is really not easy these days. Many students have been out of school for a long time because of the pandemic, and the continued disruptions and anxieties are still breaking the flow of normal learning. What can parents do to help their children thrive and excel in school, particularly during these challenging and anxiety-provoking times?
