Number one, you need to have the courage to get started. People have a lot of aspirations in their lives but get stuck; they think about it too much and don’t even start. One of my private clients, who’s also a coach, came to me because she couldn’t get any clients. When I really probed her about this, she wasn’t serious about getting clients. She was still working at her regular corporate job and didn’t have the courage to decide she was going to start her career as a coach. So, when we finally got her to do that, she was able to start getting clients, and started to work with them on nights and weekends.
