Number one, you need to have the courage to get started. People have a lot of aspirations in their lives but get stuck; they think about it too much and don’t even start. One of my private clients, who’s also a coach, came to me because she couldn’t get any clients. When I really probed her about this, she wasn’t serious about getting clients. She was still working at her regular corporate job and didn’t have the courage to decide she was going to start her career as a coach. So, when we finally got her to do that, she was able to start getting clients, and started to work with them on nights and weekends. While it did not take her that long, it was not until she could finally leave her corporate job to be a full-time a coach.

The coaching industry is now tremendous. It is a 15 billion dollar industry. Many professionals have left their office jobs to become highly successful coaches. At the same time, not everyone who starts a coaching business sees success. What does someone starting a career as a life coach, wellness coach, or business coach need to know to turn it into a very successful and rewarding career?
