Search for alignment first — In partnerships look for alignment first so that the rest of the relationship can be based on solid footing.

Trust Your Intuition — don’t go against your intuition unless you have a firm back up plan.

As a part of my series about strong female leaders, I had the pleasure of interviewing Angela Dawson.

Angela Dawson is a reclaimed fourth-generation Midwest farmer, and is co-founder and President of 40 Acre Cooperative, a farmer owned co-op focusing on advancing the needs of black and other excluded farmers. The Co-op produces proprietary hemp genetics, and partners with farmers to grow premium commercial Hemp and CBD products for various markets. Angela has several degrees and certificates in business management and law and has been a cooperative business developer for over ten years. Before founding the co-op and farming full-time Angela was an academic research writer and part-time law student.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this
