… If there’s anything that I could do, that I knew I could go out and say or do, to bring people together, I’d do it. I really feel like we need a revival of community. A lot of what’s breaking down in society right now is because there’s a lack of community. Our views don’t always line up, but we have got to find common ground and love to bring us together, or we’ll destroy each other.

I had the pleasure to talk to Dana Powell. Dana may be most known for her recurring role in the ABC hit comedy series, “MODERN FAMILY,” playing Eric Stonestreet’s sister. Powell found her voice and began comedy improv training in Los Angeles at iO West, UCB, and The Groundlings. Her most recent credits include FOX’s “9–1–1,” FX’s “THE PREMISE,” opposite Kaitlyn Dever; Netflix’s “NARCOS: MEXICO” and Peacock’s “SAVED BY THE BELL” and ABC’s “BLACK-ISH.” Dana recurred on NBC’s “THE GOOD PLACE,” HBO’S “VEEP,” TBS’ “CLIPPED” & ABC’s “SUBURGATORY,” and she had a memorable role in the Universal’s hit comedy “BRIDESMAIDS,” opposite
