Divorce Coach Jill Barnett Kaufman says, writing down your feelings in a safe place such as a diary or notebook can help you sort out what you may be feeling during a divorce.
It’s been six years in the making — and now Adele is out with her latest single, “Easy on Me.” The full album, “30” will be out on November 19th. Less than 24-hours after “Easy on Me” dropped, Adele shattered the single-day streaming records with 24-million views on numerous services, including Spotify and Amazon Music, who announced that “Easy on Me” received the most first-day global streams of any song in the history of that streaming service. Not only does Adele have one of the most beautiful voices, but when you listen to the words, you should have a box of tissues in hand. The lyrics, which were carefully written from Adele’s heart, are all about the ending of her marriage to ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019. The song is sung with so much raw emotion and pain, you could feel how difficult it was for the Award-Winning performer to travel on this road. Adele teaches all of us a valuable lesson, it doesn’t matter who you are, divorce sucks for everyone and like the title of her new hit, we need to treat people with kindness and consideration during this time that is difficult for everyone involved! Ilyssa Panitz: Earlier this month, Adele has dropped her first single in six years called “Easy on Me,” which is about her divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki. Why can it be therapeutic to channel for an artist such as Adele to channel her thoughts, feelings, and emotions into her music?
