You need to know how to learn from your mistakes quickly. In business and in surgery, you are going to make mistakes. This is part of it. It is extremely important that you learn from those mistakes quickly and don’t keep making them. For example, if you see something in a patient’s result that you don’t like (bad result or a complication), ask yourself “how could I have prevented this?” or “how could I have done it better?”, and next time do it! Don’t keep making the same mistake.
