In this interview series, we spoke to medical professionals, pain management specialists and authors who shared their insights and strategies about how to alleviate chronic pain. Christine Gibson MD
Dr. Gibson is a family doctor and trauma therapist, and author of The Modern Trauma Toolkit (releasing May of 2023). She has studied the intersection of pain and trauma through Dr. Howard Schubinar and using psychosensory techniques towards neuroplasticity. Meredith Ochoa, Artist & Author of Face Your Shit, Heal Yourself
A true explorer and creative, Atlanta artist Meredith Ochoa has been reinventing alternative and digital photo processes since 2007. She has created an ongoing 13-year augmented reality (AR) interactive art series, Every Phase, illustrating how she healed herself from endometriosis incorporating the female infradian rhythm clock. Meredith is a podcast host, photographer & author of Face Your Shit, Heal Yourself with a Masters of Art from Savannah College of Art & Design, creating artwork that helps others face their pain and see themselves for who they really are.
