Make learning fun. Find ways to build excitement about learning into your everyday lives. This might include using math or reading while baking, science experiments or observations during a walk in the woods, or whatever else sparks the imagination. It’s also beneficial to foster a love of reading, whether that first means the parent starts as the reader and eventually the child takes over, it can always be a family affair that helps families bond and children thrive.
School is really not easy these days. Many students have been out of school for a long time because of the pandemic, and the continued disruptions and anxieties are still breaking the flow of normal learning. What can parents do to help their children thrive and excel in school, particularly during these challenging and anxiety-provoking times?
