H&M Head of Global Sustainability Anna Gedda: How Technology and Transparency Can Help A Company Become More Sustainable

I come from a small town up in the North of Sweden. It’s very beautiful in terms of nature. It has many mountains, lakes, and forests. When I was 9 or 10 years old I started reading more about pollution. Soon, I realized that what I was taking for granted was really being threatened. Since then I have been committed and engaged in preventing pollution. And I think that really shaped me so much. It is more of a matter of chance that I ended up where I am today but the engagement and commitment have always been there.

At the Collision 2020 press conference, we had the pleasure of interviewing H&M’s Head of Global Sustainability, Anna Gedda. In January 2015, Anna was appointed the Head of Sustainability at H&M and became a member of the company’s executive management team. Before assuming this position, Anna held different roles in H&M’s sustainability department, including the Social Sustainability
