Travel, meet people outside the industry, try a new hobby…it will make you so much more interesting! This has helped me more than anything. My best bookings have come at times where I’ve forgotten about the audition and have moved my focus elsewhere.

Emily Somers is an LA based actress and writer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied at A.C.T. in San Francisco and the British American Drama Academy in Oxford to supplement her training at the University of California, Davis.
