Look at history through a different lens. People of color and women have frequently been erased from the history books. Take time to read and watch films that show the untold stories. Speak with people from different backgrounds — ask questions and listen. Do this and you’ll see others’ struggles through a different lens — their lived experience.

As part of our series about 5 Steps That Each Of Us Can Take To Proactively Help Heal Our Country, I had the pleasure of interviewing Marjorie Radlo-Zandi.

Marjorie grew up in a multigenerational family of entrepreneurs in the Boston area, so entrepreneurship is in her blood. Her first entrepreneurial venture at age 19 was a high-profile sailing program that brought together funders, private industry and city government.

She’s been a senior executive and leader in Silicon Valley and the Boston biotech sector, where she developed a reputation for driving domestic and international organizational growth through innovation
