Over the years I have met some amazing people and heard some amazing stories.

After hearing Kaleb Thornhill’s story, it made perfect sense to me that there is a major need in professional sports to help athletes transition to life after sports.

As mentally tough as it is making it to the playing field at the professional level, it’s equally if not more difficult transitioning off the field.

The great part about athletes is they are mentally connected to the power of having a coach on and eventually off the field.

This is a story about Kaleb Thornhill and how he’s taking a career in the NFL as Director of Player Development and spreading those same proven mental toughness concepts to individuals and business across the country.

What about you drove you to become a keynote speaker?

The drive to engage, educate, and empower individuals to reach their full potential in life. My father was a tremendous speaker, but his life got cut short, therefore his impact was cut short as well.

I want to use my platform to help others achieve their wildest dreams, so they can live life to their fullest potential. It only takes one spark to light a fire. I’m hoping that every time I speak that one spark leads to the fire inside the people in the room!

What personal themes/stories do you consistently use to engage your audiences and why?

GPS (Guide — Purpose- Significance).

We all need an internal GPS to guide us throughout life. The story of being lost and the fear, anxiety, stress, and hopelessness was living inside me until I found my GPS:

· Landing Your Dream Job — Story of me writing 244 letters to NFL teams and getting many NO’s, driving 255 miles to get one yes!

· Finding Your One Domino — Story of the greatest comeback in NCAA division 1 history when we beat Northwestern 41–38. We were behind 38–3 with 9:54 remaining in the 3rd quarter and scored 38 unanswered points to win the game!

What one word describes how you want your audience to feel when they walk away, and how in your speeches do you get them to that feeling?

AWAKENING — I want them to be WOKE UP.

This means they are ready to self-assess, install new game plans, and apply them in a GAME situation.

I believe in leaving the audience with ONE PHYSICAL item that the audience will always remember and be that TRIGGER that always leads them to remember and take action from that memory of the presentation.

What is it you find clients most often want you to accomplish for them in your speeches?

They want to do be a better version of themselves.

Most are looking for direction; areas of their life where they see an opportunity to get better. There are some that are personal development lifers and others that are truly there to implement what is being said into their personal / professional life. Most people live on cruise control… we are taking them off cruise control.

What is it you’re “selling” in your speeches/presentations that your audience craves?

I’m selling how these stories, themes, and topics can undoubtedly be instilled into their life to provide a better personal, professional, and philanthropic life. I’m selling a higher purpose ultimately!

What do you find in your speeches/presentations that generate the most interest from audiences?

Most interest is how they can apply the information in their own lives. Which is PURPOSE — DIRECTION — FAMILY/LIFE BALANCE — LANDING DREAM JOB — LEADERSHIP — OVERCOMING ADVERSITY.

What areas of business do you primarily speak on?

Culture — Sales & Marketing — Human Capital — Performance

How are you able to bridge the differences between different industries (e.g. how would you pitch someone to hire you in an industry in which you’ve never spoken)?

By providing the stories, themes, and outcomes that are relative to their specific area of focus in that industry. It all comes back to the common denominator, which is human capital. There are MANY correlations between the game of football and any aspect of ANY business. Being prepared, passionate, and having a great game plan will allow for entry into any market!

Describe in one sentence the one thing that distinguishes you from other speakers?

The ability to connect with the audience, strike them in the heart, and leave them hungry to not only take action, but hungry for MORE. CARE — CARE — CARE

Why should an event planner choose you?

The ability to engage, educate, and empower the audience to reach their full potential in life.

Most people are living on a dysfunctional GPS (Greed — Possessions — Success).

If you want your individuals to start living to their fullest potential they need a functional GPS that will Guide them, instill Purpose, and live with Significance!
