Be careful when quoting research. In today’s online world anyone, anywhere can claim to create a poll, do a study, or run a report. However, not all research is created equal. Credible news outlets (online or off) research their research and only use information that has been properly vetted from credible sources that have a relatively neutral approach to the topic they are researching.

As a part of our series about “the 5 steps we can take to win back trust in journalism” I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Karen Tiber Leland.
