Practice gratitude! Being grateful brings so much joy into your life! According to researchers, “regular gratitude journaling has been shown to result in 5% to 15% increases in optimism and 25% increase in sleep quality” (Halo.com). I recommend The G.A.P. It wasn’t until I started practicing gratitude that I found joy in all the little things such as walking a dog or doing dishes.

It sometimes feels like it is so hard to avoid feeling down or depressed these days. Between the sad news coming from world headlines, the impact of the ongoing raging pandemic, and the constant negative messages popping up on social and traditional media, it sometimes feels like the entire world is pulling you down.
