Kikiriki: 5 Things You Need To Create a Highly Successful Career In The Fashion Industry

The fashion industry can improve itself by lessening its impact on the world and providing positivity in its message. An example would be by making it more of a priority to lessen the carbon footprint on the planet and to ensure we all work together to continue to spread messages that empower fashion consumers regardless of their race, age, gender identity, location… etc.

As part of our series about the 5 things you need to succeed in the fashion industry, I had the pleasure of doing an interview with the brains behind International Fashion Brand Kikiriki.

Kikiriki is a fearless and edgy “life-style” brand dedicated to the intelligent, creative, independent, and fashion-conscious person who likes to push life to its limits, dress well, look good, have fun, feel great, and still live within their means! Promoted by countless top celebrities and models such as Britney Spears & Seyma Subasi, the brand prides itself on its conscious and ethical work, producing good quality pieces, while being one of the first on-trend clothing brands at its affordable price point. They practice sustainable production and management and include representative models and styles in diverse options.

The brand launched in 1994 to fulfill the void in the industry for good quality, on-trend clothing at affordable prices, and today it is one of most exciting, fun and colorful brands for the modern women all around the world. The creative direction incorporates the timeless designs of Europe and America and offers a vast range from eye-catching, creative, and distinctive, to basic wardrobe staples. They never stop working on new ideas, and their range is constantly being updated. Daily, they draw, design, manufacture and custom-sew for their customers to offer countless options and ensure every client is catered to. They introduce up to 40 brand new designs weekly, each piece constructed with careful attention to detail, reflecting the latest fashion trends, eye-popping colors, patterns, lines, and coupes.

Their goal is to continue to partner with others who believe in our aesthetic and share our mission to be one of the best brands preferred as a “life-style store” by the modern fashionista of today all around the world.

What do you think makes your company stand out? Can you share a story?

I think the question itself has the secret word — “stand out.” We’re a brand that prides itself on helping our customers stand out with our unique style and spectacular pieces. Kikiriki is not only clothing, it’s more like a vehicle to make you feel like your sexiest self while making a statement.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Continue to love what you are doing, believe in the product, and create an emotional bond with it. When you believe in what you do, it’s easy to fall in love with it. Oh, and help others. That is always rewarding.

How has the company used its success to bring goodness to the world?

We like to give messages and to use every great moment of exposure to create visual messages of equality, kindness, and inclusion. Every work of art, every piece of material, every photo shoot…we try to spread the love.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Whatever you do, be the best at it!

Does Kikiriki see any fascinating developments emerging over the next few years in the fashion industry that they are excited about? Can you tell us about that?

We see an evolution coming. Not only in the fashion world but in all the world as it functions. We are adapting to how things in the world are changing and we have some exciting developments, but you will have to stand by to watch it unfold!

Thank you for all that. Here is the main question of our interview. What are Kikiriki’s “Top 5 Things Needed to Succeed in the Fashion Industry”.

Patience & Understanding of your customers

Good ethics & Morals (sustainability, diversity/inclusion in clothes/models)

Future trend forecasting

Adaptability

Gratitude/Humility

Every industry constantly evolves and seeks improvement. How do you think the fashion industry can improve itself? Can you give an example?

The fashion industry can improve itself by lessening its impact on the world and providing positivity in its message. An example would be by making it more of a priority to lessen the carbon footprint on the planet and to ensure we all work together to continue to spread messages that empower fashion consumers regardless of their race, age, gender identity, location… etc.

Kikiriki has great influence. If it could start a movement that would bring the mostamount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. :-)

It would be to empower our customers with positive messaging. We do this as much as we can and always thrive to find new ways to spread our message 😊
