I had the pleasure of interviewing Lauren Corugedo. Lauren Corugedo is the head of marketing at Chef Merito, a Latino-founded CPG business that for nearly 40 years has delivered quality seasonings, marinades, breading mixes, batters, and other specialty products via supermarkets, super mercados and eCommerce.

In her current role, Lauren oversees all branding and marketing efforts for the tri-generational food brand including its social, media, strategic partnerships and community programming. In 2013, she facilitated Chef Merito’s role as the “Official Seasoning of the Dodgers.” Lauren oversees the relationship, which continues to bring the former’s offerings and marks closer to the organization’s fan base — through original content, player support, and of course, seasonal and specialty in-stadium menu items.

Prior to this, Lauren served as the company’s marketing manager, where she oversaw new product roll-out and promotion, as well as all brand creative and media materials.
