Len Forkas of Milestone Towers: 5 Things You Need To Create A Highly Successful Purpose Driven Business

I had the pleasure of interviewing Len Forkas, the founder and president of Milestone Towers, a wireless infrastructure company that has developed over 500 towers along the East Coast. With 40+ years of experience in real estate and telecom, he previously founded Milestone Communities and held leadership roles at Bank of America and Weyerhaeuser.

He is also the founder of Hopecam, a nonprofit that has helped over 5,500 children with cancer stay connected to their classrooms in all 50 states. Len has served on multiple nonprofit and industry boards, including Educate Fairfax, The Urban land Institute and the Wireless Infrastructure Association.

An accomplished endurance athlete, Len has climbed six of the Seven Summits, skied to the South Pole, completed the 3,000-mile Race Across America twice solo, and run a marathon in every U.S. state. He’s conducting this interview from Mt. Everest and every step he takes he’s supporting the kids connected to Hopecam and to raise $1 Million. When he summits, he will be the fifth oldest American to make it.
