“Businesses with diverse teams are better positioned to understand their customers’ needs. A diverse team from various backgrounds will unlock insights into market segments, preferences, and customers, allowing companies to develop comprehensive marketing strategies.”

As part of this series, we had the pleasure of interviewing Lyle Adams.

Lyle Adams is the CEO of Spry, a software solution designed specifically for athletic organizations. Before founding Spry, he worked at Uber and LivingSocial. He completed his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and his graduate degree from Columbia University. In his spare time, Lyle loves to solve the Rubik’s Cube.

Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series. Before we dive into our discussion about cultural sensitivity, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

There isn’t a single incident that led to the creation of Spry, but it’s a result of my time as a professional athlete and working in the tech industry.
