I had the pleasure of interviewing Actor Leland B. Martin.

Born in Willingboro, New Jersey and raised outside of Philadelphia, Leland B. Martin graduated college with the intention of pursuing a career as a financial advisor. Shortly after graduation, he started selling insurance due to the peak of the financial crisis and also began studying to obtain his financial securities licenses. Eventually, a job opened up at Merrill Lynch and Leland thought his dreams were being fulfilled. Not long after, he ran into a casting director he knew and decided to begin taking acting lessons which led him to discover that the 9 to 5 life was not for him. While training and cultivating his talent, he was self-submitting for student films when he came across an indie film that he submitted himself for a role in titled “Alaskaland.” He booked the job and began rehearsals in Philadelphia before traveling to Alaska to film.
