Music Stars Making A Social Impact: Why & How Jessica Lynn Is Helping To Change Our World

… I have always been a big believer in giving back and using your platform to do good. When I was a kid I would constantly volunteer at different animal shelters as well as sing in every nursing home and children’s hospital I could find. I have continued that tradition of trying to make a difference in the world and have worked with countless veterans and military organizations across the globe as well as many organizations that benefit animals. All proceeds from my current single “You Save Me” as well as from my brand new “Music Saves” Merchandise line to the Forging Forward Foundation, which helps heal visible and invisible wounds of our veterans, first responders and their families. This song is a duet with my friend and British Army veteran Liam Wakefield, who has an incredible story about raising awareness for mental health.

As a part of our series about stars who are making an important social impact, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jessica Lynn.

Jessica Lynn is an internationally acclaimed and Billboard Charting country artist out of Yorktown, NY. Originally born in Brooklyn, NY, Jessica has been called a “rocket force” due to her meteoric rise as an independent artist over the past few years. She has been featured in Billboard, CMT and American Songwriter Magazine and graced the covers of Maverick Magazine, Westchester Magazine and Guitar Girl Magazine. She has been invited to perform the National Anthem twice at Madison Square Garden and was invited to the United Nations for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day as a special guest.
