Nathan Motyl: 5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became a C-Suite Executive
An Interview With Ben Ari
Practice listening. Even if you feel you are a good listener, you can do better. Conversation, body language, digital messages all tell you something. Directly in many cases, indirectly in others. Learn to hone this craft to reach a deeper level of understanding.
As part of our series called “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Began Leading My Company” I had the pleasure of interviewing Nathan Motyl.
Nate is an executive with a background in science, finance, and information technology. He began his career in finance, but quickly transitioned to the IT department of a small engineering company where he honed his technical skills over multiple disciplines. Following this he focused on Business Intelligence, Database performance, and enterprise workload management. He later joined a private equity firm where he was tasked with consolidating a collection of start-up companies into one cohesive entity and has received numerous awards for his success in this field.
