… Here is a sixth idea. Some of the best advice I have ever received, although it took me years to follow, was to move on to the next one. Whether it’s an audition or an interview for another kind of job, your only job is to audition or interview. Once you’re done, close the door and move on to the next one. This reminds me of something I read in a book about what they don’t teach you at Harvard Business School. It says that even if you don’t get a job, you’ll have another interview, so you must move on to the next one. You don’t want to carry the bad meeting or audition with you to the next one.
