Thank you for joining us! Before we dive in, can you tell us a bit about your ‘backstory’ and how you got started?
I first saw the power of the press when I was 12. It was at the height of ‘the Troubles’ in Northern Ireland and we were forced out of our home. We were Catholics living on the wrong street and overnight, we were homeless.
The local council refused to help, and my family was in no position to pay for private housing. My Dad went to a newspaper and they wrote about our situation. And miraculously, the council found us a new home straightaway!
