I think for the sake of the world, if we saw things more through that lens, that we have a lot more in common, especially in terms of the trials and tribulations that every society has to deal with, if we could have more compassion with each other, country to country, the world would undoubtedly be better off. That was one of the things that was very clearly demonstrated in that show.

I had the distinct pleasure to talk with Randy Oglesby. Randy was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where he started studying theatre. This began a long, strange, character-building series of odd jobs that by their peculiar variety deserve mention; waiter, singing bartender, hod carrier, starting and exercising thoroughbred racehorses, working in a cement batching company, hide factory, pool hall rack boy, cutting and selling firewood, and training polo ponies.
