…There are many “Tatums” in the business so rejection is constant, but as a Christian, I know that I am unique and what opportunities are given is God’s will, and those that aren’t weren’t meant to be. You just give it your best and then move on after every audition or callback and know that it’s out of your hands what happens next.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Tatum Matthews. Tatum stars as Erin Walton in the CW network’s new “The Waltons” television specials, reboots based on the beloved long-running CBS TV series (1972–1981) about a large family living in rural Virginia during the Great Depression. The latest CW installment, “A Waltons’ Thanksgiving” will debut on November 20, 2022. Last year’s “The Waltons: Homecoming” was the network’s second-highest rated special of the 2020–2021 season.

Additionally, Tatum stars in the sci-fi indie film “The Artifice Girl,” which had its world premiere at the 26th Annual Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal (July 2022), winning the Gold Audience Award for Best International Feature
