Social Impact Authors: How & Why Author Michael J Mason Is Helping To Change Our World
Leadership comes with the ability to be truthful, to call things as they are. To speak the truth about anything. Truth will set you free. And people have a hard time looking at that. They’re entrapped by other people’s control over them.
As part of my series about “authors who are making an important social impact”, I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Michael J. Mason.
Dr. Mason was born with cerebral palsy in the 1950s during a time in which accommodations for the disabled were virtually non-existent. Despite the challenges he faced while growing up, Mason attended New York University and Columbia University, and completed his Ph.D. in psychology. After a long career as a psychologist, he’s writing a trilogy of books about his life. The first book, On the Outside Chance, is available for purchase now.
Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series! Before we dive into the main focus of our interview, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you tell us a bit about your childhood backstory?
