Social Impact Heroes: Why & How Katherine Snider of Good+Foundation is Helping to Change Our World

I wish someone had told me that the pace is slow in our sector, but progress can be made with patience. There have been times when the work has been very challenging, where we attempt to make a change with no immediate impact, but patience is the key, as the change does come with time.

As part of my series about “individuals and organizations making an important social impact”, I had the pleasure of interviewing Katherine Snide.

Katherine Snider is the CEO of Good+Foundation, a national nonprofit that uses a multi-generational approach to address family poverty. Good+Foundation’s ground-breaking model meets the short-term needs of mothers, fathers, and caregivers living on low-incomes, while also helping families create pathways for long-term, self-determined success. Good+ also works to reform the systems that have blocked families from having access to resources and opportunities.
