…I’d like to start a movement that would work closely with law enforcement and residents to make all departments the best they can be. I would also like to create a movement to help educate folks about the unspoken nuances of racism and discrimination. It’s all so very complicated but I believe we have done a horrible job really discussing all aspects of institutional racism and the myriad problems.

I had the pleasure to interview Anne-Marie Johnson.

Anne-Marie is an American actress and impressionist. She is known for her roles as Nadine Hudson Thomas in the sitcom What’s Happening Now!!, and Althea Tibbs in the NBC police procedural In the Heat of the Night. She also was a cast member in the Fox sketch comedy In Living Color during its final season. Anne-Marie also had recurring and regular roles in Melrose Place, JAG, Girlfriends and The InBetween.
