“Surround yourself with people that push you to be better” With CrossFit Champion Tasia Percevecz
“For me, I have used my success to spread love and inspire as many women as possible. I want young girls to know that they are capable of ANYTHING. And that they can be, and look, however they want to look. CrossFit is empowering. It gives women an even platform with men and shows us that we can do great things!”
I had the pleasure of interviewing CrossFit champion Tasia Percevecz. Tasia achieved CrossFit champion glory this past August competing on CrossFit Mayhem’s Freedom Team and placing first in the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games. Tasia made her CrossFit Games debut in 2016 with an impressive 15th-place finish. A competitive gymnast since childhood, Percevecz had dreamed of being an elite gymnast, but fell short of her aspirations in college. Looking for a new sport, she started CrossFit in 2013. As a trainer at CrossFit Free in Salem, New Hampshire, Percevecz took five top-10 event finishes in her first Games appearance. Tasia is from Phoenix, Arizona and currently a sales rep for a supplement company, Blonyx Biosciences.
