Your job doesn’t exist yet. Dating myself a bit here, but I worked for the Raiders before they had Twitter. Imagine the sports industry operating without Social Media Managers. When I was in grad school for Sport Management at USF, that job didn’t exist yet. Technology has really accelerated the sports business in the last 10+ years, but there’s an absolute reality that says the jobs of the next generation of sports executives haven’t been invented yet.

New technologies have changed the way we engage in and watch sports.
