It’s very easy to get lost in the life that you are living and grow obsessed with the things you don’t have, especially with the extreme that social media plays in society. We see these people who flaunt everything that they have and it’s easy to get lost in the comparison game and get upset that we don’t have lives like that. This is where gratitude comes in, we as people need to learn how to be grateful for what we have. I know it’s easier said than done, but when you learn to appreciate your life for what it is instead of being upset for what you don’t have, you have the opportunity to truly live.
