Anyone can become disabled. You’re born into certain aspects of your identity, but anyone can become disabled at any time. A latent illness may manifest as we age, or we might become sick due to environmental factors. We can have accidents in which we lose limbs, mobility, hearing, or sight. If more people were cognizant of this fact, it might make society a little more willing to work with us, rather than against us.

As a part of our “Unstoppable” series, we had the pleasure of interviewing L.E. Harper.

L.E. Harper is a New York-based fantasy writer. She suffers from chronic depression, but her love for fantastical storytelling has given her something to live for. Her new adult fantasy novel, KILL YOUR DARLINGS, which focuses on her struggle with mental health, will be published May 24th, 2023.
