Fitness is important. It helps burn fat and calories while building muscle to keep a good body weight. It also boosts your metabolism which can lead to weight loss. It will reduce your risk of heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure, diabetes, certain forms of cancer, arthritis, respiratory problems, etc. Aim for at least 20 minutes of exercise each day. You can break it into several short sessions if that’s more convenient.

So many of us have tried dieting. All too often though, many of us lose 10–20 pounds, but we end up gaining it back. Not only is yo-yo dieting unhealthy, it is also demoralizing and makes us feel like giving up. What exactly do we have to do to achieve a healthy body weight and to stick with it forever?
