Almost anything can be framed one way or another. I used to think that some beliefs or positions were inherently partisan. I wish someone had shown me how most positions and beliefs can be reframed to favor another value or desire. Don’t ever take the framing for granted; almost everyone is complicated enough to be appealed to by various creative framing. As often as someone disagrees with the heart of the debate, they might just disagree with the framing.

As part of my series about young people who are making an important social impact”, I had the pleasure of interviewing Trent Mora.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Austin, Texas, Trent Mora is a philosophy major at Gallaudet University, the only liberal arts university in the world for deaf and hard of hearing students.
