It’s been a year?

Making plans for a summer cruise with her besties

Author’s Note: I’m busy this summer crafting a wild cross-over collection of stories, including characters from some of my popular stories of last year. This excerpt is from the third story of my Feisty Felicia series and reconnects us with Christi and Jenny, her swinging best friends. Yes, Felicia will be released to Kindle Unlimited on July 15th.

“Felicia, can you believe it’s been a year?” Jenny asks, lifting her iced mocha latte and sipping from the straw.

“Since what, exactly?” I ask, stirring my pink strawberry drink. “Did I zone out and miss part of the conversation?”

I shift my gaze from Jenny’s lips around her straw to look at our other companion. Christi’s forehead creases as her eyes narrow, and her face lights up as she remembers something.

“Fuck, has it been a year?” Christi asks, grinning at me like I should remember what she’s talking about.

I think back, trying to remember what happened but still coming up empty.

“You know,” Jenny says as her cheeks blush. “Since we had that party at the beach house?”
