During a recent weekend, I decided to read three books from Laura Vanderkam. Laura is the author of time management and productivity books. Laura also did a TED talk on How to Gain Control of Your Free Time.

These are concise books (one to two hours each). You should be able to finish them in one sitting or during a car ride.

You should consider reading short books in between longer books. This trick will help you to increase the number of books you are reading. I have read 55 books during 2019, and I am trying to get that number to 61. Reading short books always helps in bumping the numbers higher (smile).

Learnings from these Books

I was sceptical after reading reviews. Surprising to my original estimation, these books have a lot to offer. Each is packed with good advice and real-life examples.

In her books, Laura shared her research and interviews with people such as children’s book illustrator LeUyen Pham, GTD David Allen, fitness personality Chalene Johnson, and former race car driver Sarah Fisher.
