Introduction

Autochatic is the only multilingual build your own Chatbot platform there is. That’s not all! You can also make this Chatbot super intelligent and make it really outgoing. We have a built-in natural language understanding module. Which means you can even make your Chatbots understand human language without creating a boring robotic experience.

What is a Chatbot

The term “Bot” refers to a software program that can automate tasks, given that, Chatbot means a software that can platform an automation of chat on a messaging platform or social media.

Why Chatbots

Chatbots streamline interactions between people and services by being available on top of easily accessible mediums. Have you ever heard someone saying “Oh I’m reading the FAQ’s of this website”? Well, this is something a chatbot could accommodate. Enhancing customer experience. At the same time, they offer businesses new opportunities to improve user engagement and also increase efficiency by reducing the unnecessary costs of the customer service.

On the other hand, Facebook has billions of users and the Messenger app alone has more than 1B users. So your online customers that are not on Facebook would be a negligibly small fraction (Oh yes, if you’re not talking about China). Also, nobody really installs apps these days, so a Chatbot could be a handy replacement to Apps. Because you can even push notifications to the users about offers and updates.

That’s a lot of people, your audience must be there!

Let’s rock this Halloween 👻🎃🔮

What a halloween treat!

About Autochatic

At Autochatic conversation is a graph of possible dialogs (just like in real conversations). In simple terms, Chatbot says something, and you provide the user the ability to respond in several ways.

In this example, it’s a quick replies template. Obviously, the user can select either options and (not very trivial) can type something. If the user clicks next steps can be easily handled by you but if they type something you need to know what they might type.

So you can tell the chatbot if they ask something like (let’s say) “are you open on weekends?”, we can add it to the chatbot’s FAQs. So once the user types something it will fallback to FAQs block. If you want to handle it there without falling back, you can use an intelligent module or even a plain text message that says “no, just select an option”

Use of the template

Halloween template is really easy to use! First, if you like you can change the greeting message, the following images. Text style is simple and funny if you like can change those too. We used emojis from emojipedia halloween collection. GIFs from Ghiphy.com and keywords included Halloween and Ghost.

If somebody goes with “Trick or treat” they will get some offers you have listed for the Halloween times. You can link them to your website or if you don’t have one you can list them then and there and handle the orders manually.

If not “Hocus pocus” is meant to display your upcoming goods or services you can list them there to keep your audience aware and why not, ask them to subscribe. Once they do you can go to campaigns menu and message them about those updates.

Well, everything is not about just selling your products or services, let’s have some fun, some engagement with your customers. This will give you a brand awareness, maybe a bit of free marketing.

Other things to note

You can segment your customers automatically using labels, add buttons to the chat and maybe use mathematical functions. Since this is just the beginning we are not covering that here. You can check out the tutorials on the website. If not you can also join our community and shoot out what you need to get done and we will help.

Creating awareness

Your Chatbot or your messenger is fancy, now what. Let’s make some awareness. First, you need to make sure people can message you. You need to make your page has a message button. A cover picture like this would be handy too. You can also advertise or even just make a facebook post saying that this is there on your messenger. People love to play with new stuff.

What’s next?

Once you finish up with Halloween, you can train this Chatbot really intelligently to answer most frequently asked questions.

Adding the true intelligence to the Chatbot

Add other products or services, or even a different persona. We made Autochatic so you can play around with it, and to build your own (chat)bot -BYOB.

If you run into any troubles, you can personally ask questions from the Chatbot (m.me/autochatic), where we will answer promptly.

If you like you can also ask questions on our public community (facebook.com/groups/autochatic) where community or an admin will help you out.
