NYSE Operator Announces New Global Digital Assets Platform, Plans Bitcoin Futures Launch
In some of the most bullish news of 2017 ICE, the overseeing operator of the New York Stock Exchange have signalled their desire to launch a global cryptocurrency asset platform. In addition to this, they are also looking to introduce Bitcoin futures markets in the short-mid term, creating yet another bridge for institutional money to enter the crypto market. This news should be met with optimism by all in the blockchain community.
Coinbase Custody Considers Addition of 37 New Assets Including XRP, EOS and XMR
In equally bullish news, leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has let slip that it is considering onboarding almost 40 new coins for its native custody service. The list of new coins is by no means an exhaustive list of coins ranked by value and has drawn some criticism from the blockchain community. In an a wider sense however, whenever the largest onboarding platform increases the exposure to more cryptocurrencies, the market as a whole should be enriched by the prospect of new capital entering the market.
