Workflow: randomly assign research topics
Many teachers allow their students to choose their own topics for research papers and projects. There is great merit to this practice because students are much more likely to work harder and spend more time researching and working on a topic in which they are interested. However, I also know that many elementary and middle school teachers assign students topics for research projects. Workflow allows teachers to expedite this process by randomly choosing a topic from a list, pairing that topic with a student, and then sending that output (which is text) to the Notes app, Evernote, or Dropbox. A teacher could do this process with an entire class in about 3–5 minutes and have the list ready pto give to students.
