The Nissan Rogue is the car manufacturer’s bestselling model in the American market. There are many qualities that baits the Rogue’s popularity in the market. The bold body styling is one attraction, as its new updates. The 2018 Nissan Rogue in Dallas now comes with an optional Nissan Pro Assist driving system and Nissan Connect SM featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. It’s the first Nissan vehicle to offer the ProPilot Assist program and considering its relatively inexpensive price tag, its one of the least expensive SUV in the market with adaptive cruise control, steering assist, braking assist and cross traffic and pedestrian detection.

Although a little less powerful among the SUV new Nissan cars of 2018, its fuel economy, driving performance and comfort more than makes up for it.

What’s new for the 2018 model?

The 2018 Rogue is no longer available with a third row. It hasn’t undergone any significant face lifts for this model year, however, it adds several consumer minded facilities. The biggest addition is the ProPilot Assist which functions like a smart, adaptive cruise control, a standard 7 inch display, an additional USB port, new equipment of higher trims and two new exterior colors — Scarlet Amber and Midnight Pine.

Trim levels and features

The 2018 Nissan Rogue is available in three trim levels — S, SV and SL. This small SUV is fueled by a 170-hp 2.5-liter I-4 engine producing 175-lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) which sends power to the front wheels. All wheel drive is also an available option.

The standard features in all the trim levels include traction control, emergency braking, rear cross traffic assist, LED headlights, Siri “eyes free” voice command, and a 7-inch touch screen with CarPlay and AutoPlay connectivity.

Interior

There’s a lot to like in the 2018 Rogue’s interior. Cabin and seat comfort are excellent, as are payload space and utility. A pleasant interior environment is usually a striking feature in most new Nissan cars of 2018, but this car’s interior is altogether a different territory. There’s enough space to fit 7 passengers, there’s ample of leg room and the interior materials and design gives the car a classy feel. The higher trims feature leather clad heated seats. Its seventy-cu. ft. of cargo space makes it one of the most spacious small SUVs available today.

Driving Performance

The 2018 Nissan rogue offers a comfortable and relaxed ride. The suspension is nimble and gives the Rogue a soft, sure footed feel. Steering is quick to engage, making it possible to cut corners without having to heave.
