11. Keep two sets reliable car floor mat. This will help you to get one washed and one in use.

12. Add coolant after every 15000 miles. It is important and must to antifreeze your car to save it from overheating. If neglected, can cause the engine to overheat and eventually burn out.

13. Remove bird crap off from your car as soon as possible. Acidic bird droppings are harmful to the car paint.

14. Keep your car maintenance receipts safely. Next time when you visit any workshop, the mechanic will ask you the details about your last repair. Keeping the receipts in place will make your life easier.

15. Inspect your spark plugs every 30K miles and replace them every 60K miles. If neglected, can lead to bad gas mileage and can degrade acceleration.

16. Opt-in for a good car insurance policy that covers the accidental damage to you and your car. A good car insurance could be expensive but would be worth of your need and worries.

17. Use window shade. It is recommended that you keep your car cooler inside.

18. Wherever and whenever feasible, park your car in the shade. This will save your car from overheating.
