World Ethical Data Forum 2018
Last Thursday, 20th of September, the World Ethical Data Forum 2018 took place in Barcelona and autoXchange was a proud platinum sponsor of this event.
The WDF is a world-leading platform which focuses on the ethics and development of decentralised technologies and included headline and keynote talks and presentations from various areas including mass data and data-analytic technologies, their use and safeguards, the importance of limits or lack of limits to access for security agencies and government, data rights, the commercial use of data by marketing, media organizations and big business, as well as recent innovations in artificial intelligence, the development of cryptocurrency and ICO regulation, and the benefits and pitfalls of blockchain technology and its future applications.
These talks and presentations were given by numerous respected figures in their respective fields, including NY Times bestselling author David Brin, inventor of Merkle Trees Ralph Merkle and many others including autoXchange’s Cofounder and COO, Philip Thompson.
During the event, Philip Thompson was also able to meet with Tangi Le Calvez, Founder and General Manager for Goin Invest, who are getting regulated in France to bring more institutional investors into the blockchain sphere.
While at the event, Philip was also invited to be interview by RT which should be released soon.
