Avalanche Hub — Introducing Token Rewards, Regional Communities & More

In February 2020 we launched AVA Hub, a platform built to foster community engagement and contributions. We launched a platform, but you — the AVA community — made it a home.

Now, just two months later, AVA Hub has more than 1,400 users from every corner of the world! People with different skills and expertise have joined in and contributed to our journey of reimagining global finance. Users who have made 3,162 contributions of all kinds, including open source development, educational content, translations, social media outreach, graphics, videos, and testing feedback.

We’re immensely proud of our rapidly growing community of early supporters in the AVA Hub, and we’re just getting started.

What’s next?

Introducing token rewards

Starting today, you can use AVA points to redeem AVA Hub X (AHX) tokens on the AVA Hub marketplace. AHX tokens are non-transferable ERC20 tokens granted through AVA Hub and redeemable in a 1:1 ratio with AVA tokens after the mainnet launch.

The tokens will be redeemable for eligible participants who complete the KYC process, and match the lockup schedule of the private seed investors.

In other words, you will get the best deal possible as a reward for your early support and hard work.

Expanding regional communities

After monitoring the growth of AVA local communities, we created localized groups entitled to specific language tasks. With this initiative, we’ll create more localized content and bring AVA to every corner of the world.

AVA Hub currently hosts regional tasks for:
