DO NOT use any other wallet to participate in the sale. Only wallets created through keygen.avax.network will allow you to receive your AVAX tokens.
DO NOT use this wallet on wallet.avax.network before the mainnet launch. Until mainnet launch, this version of the Wallet will only be accessible to addresses on the Denali testnet. It is not upgraded to service the new HD Wallet keys you will generate for the sale.
GO TO keygen.avax.network on a desktop computer and not a mobile device. Mobile devices might have problems storing the keygen file securely.
Step 1. Navigate to keygen.avax.network > Click Generate Key
Step 2. Select a strong password > Click Download > Save your keystore file in a secure location.
Step 3. Save your AVAX Mnemonic Phrase > Click Verify.
Step 4. Confirm that you backed up your mnemonic phrase successfully.
Step 5. Store your AVAX Public Address. This is the address you will need to enter when the sale is live. This field will not be open until after the sale launches.
Please keep your Json file, mnenomic phrase and password in a safe place you will need it to access your wallet on the mainnet launch.
Once the sale opens on July 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM ET (UTC-4) and you’ve successfully completed your identity verification, you will gain access to the payment panel at https://buy.avax.network/
In case you want to buy from an option different than what you chose during the KYC process, please navigate to your profile and select the option you would like to purchase instead.
Step 1. Specify USD amount of AVAX you want to purchase. > Fill in your AVAX wallet public address generated on keygen.avax.network > Choose a payment option.
Step 2. Confirm the details of your payment. Agree with the purchase agreement and sign.
In the signature field simply enter your name as per your ID, make sure you write it correctly it is case sensitive.
Step 3. Proceed with your payment.
DO NOT send payments from an exchange account.
- Every hour, the platform will retrieve the price of the supported cryptocurrencies and save them to be used for the next hour.
- You can use any non-custodial wallet to send the payment (e.g., Trust, Exodus, Jaxx, MEW, MetaMask).
- For payments in ETH and ERC20 tokens, we recommend setting the gas limit to 100,000.
- You can buy every option so long as your purchase amount is under the max check size. Note: Clicking to purchase from a second option will send you back to the queue.
