Any plan for your Christmas holidays? Get your tickets to participate in the new year’s Avalanche lottery, book some prizes, fun & knowledge to start full power the new year with Avalanche!

After a successful series of events in the past months, today Avalanche is running on its mainnet and is secured by almost 650 validator nodes, disrupting the misconception that a blockchain can’t be performant while being highly decentralized. The Avalanche community has been playing a key role here, today many validators are run by the same community members that have been engaging with the project since the time of the first public testnet, almost 9 months ago.

We would like to thank all our supporters, old and new ones :-), running a competition with some nice stuff for you, nothing difficult, all in the name of learning, sharing and practicing with Avalanche. You guys deserve a recognition for your support.

And the newcomers? Who still doesn’t know Avalanche? They must have the chance to celebrate the New Year with Avalanche, too.

Aim of this competition is to spread worldwide the Avalanche word, and to motivate those unfamiliar with Avalanche to get in touch with the project, learn it, and why not? also to take part in the competition and get the chance to win the new year’s Avalanche lottery!

The Avalanche lottery, a way to say “welcome 2021, welcome Avalanche”!

Let’s introduce the lottery and its prizes. To participate in this competition, you have to take part in some tasks available in our community platform; you will get Avalanche points and/or tickets as direct reward for each task.

Each 200 Avalanche points that you earn participating in the tasks eligible for the competition, you will get 1 ticket for the Avalanche lottery.

At the end of the competition, we will draw 10 tickets:

1st ticket: 50 AVAX tokens + 1 special Avalanche NFT
2nd ticket: 35 AVAX tokens + 1 special Avalanche NFT
3rd ticket: 20 AVAX tokens + 1 special Avalanche NFT
4th — 10th tickets: 5 AVAX tokens + 1 special Avalanche NFT

Requirements

To participate in this competition you need:

a Twitter account with at least 30 followers, actively used for at least a month
an Avalanche wallet, if you don’t have one, please create it and set your address in your community platform account, accessing your profile. We need your address to send your rewards, and you need it to participate in some tasks that will require the use of the Avalanche wallet.

We will thank those who will put quality in their activities by giving them an additional bonus ticket for the Avalanche lottery!

We will require you to apply and complete some specific tasks (marketing/technical/educational/…); you can participate in as many tasks as you wish, the more tasks you participate and succeeds, the more chance you have to accumulate points and get tickets for the lottery; always, read carefully the description of the task, from the beginning to the end, and be respectful of the rules.

Remember, you can create only 1 account in the community platform, if we spot people creating multi accounts, those will be banned from the platform. Play fair!
