Key Biscayne is a small town which encompasses beauty and luxury and lies east of Miami and south of Miami Beach. If you are looking to unwind and enjoy a picnic in the park or on the beach, play some volleyball or just simply lay out for a tan, Key Biscayne is the place for you to be.

The Communities

The community of Key Biscayne is a mixture of lavish tropical gardens, serene white sand beaches and an eclectic collection of fine dining.

Key Biscayne’s east and west coast hosts different types of homes on each end. The West Coast of the town is geared toward family living with three bedroom houses as well as mansions. The East Coast is however concentrated on continuous resort style living as it boasts beautiful luxury condos.

The Beaches

Key Biscayne has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With beautiful beaches comes extraordinary coral reefs; they are one of a kind and absolutely beautiful. The Crandon Park Beach is a beauty to behold and is definitely more than just a beach. It is equipped with a collection of self-guided nature tours, beach volleyball courts, kayak rentals, eco-adventure tours and bird and butterfly walks. This town is also home to the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park Beach which was ranked at number seven (7) by Dr. Beach in 2013. Windsurfing can be done by the Hobbie Beach which is located just before arriving to Key Biscayne. The beaches are beautiful and perfect for swimming, a picnic or just that romantic walk.

In Key Biscayne, the median asking price for a townhouse and condo is at USD$625 per square foot while the single-family house is about USD$925 per square foot.

Local Restaurants

There are endless restaurant options in Key Biscayne to suit every budget and taste such as: The Oasis, Cioppino, Pino at the Towers, Cantina Beach Restaurant, The Plaza Italian Restaurant, Stefano’s, Tango Grill, La Boulangerie and La Piazzetta.

Most of the restaurants provide an atmosphere which encourages persons to stay a while after dinner and enjoy cocktails.

School Zones

There are many school options in Key Biscayne; St. Agnes Academy, St. Christopher’s Montessori and Key Biscayne International Christian School. The Miami Dade College is only 7 miles away and the Al Miami International University of Art and Design just a short 8 miles away. Key Biscayne is also equipped with community colleges such as Pankey L D Institute and Aguamarina Art School and the town is also served by the Miami Dade County Public Schools.
