Easy Honey Garlic Chicken

Soy sauce, garlic and honey combine to make the most incredible flavor for chicken! You can create this same recipe with shrimp, scallops, veggies, etc., but I just especially LOVE it with chicken! It definitely tastes like it has 10x more carbs in the flavor, so enjoy this taste bud trick!

INGREDIENTS

Avatar Way
– 8g minced garlic
– 445g raw chicken breast (about 1 pound)
– 30g soy sauce
– 21g honey
– a dash of chili powder
– salt & pepper to taste

Common Way
– ½ tbsp minced garlic
– 1 lb chicken breast
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp honey
– a dash of chili powder
– salt & pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut raw chicken into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook garlic and chicken together on the stovetop (sprayed with 0 calorie nonstick spray) over medium-high heat until chicken is cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, combine honey and soy sauce and stir well.
  4. Pour mixture over chicken, add a dash of chili powder, salt, and pepper, and let cook for another 2–3 minutes on low heat.
  5. You can cook any veggies in the same pan and the traces of sauce on the pan flavors them very nicely! Feel free to garnish with sesame seeds and chives, enjoy!
