Catolico Cerrado
Hail Mary Full of Grace
A devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary since childhood
A blessed birthday anniversary to Mother Mary.
I remember my first exposure to being Catholic was through my very devout mother who would gather all my siblings and I everyday at 6PM to pray the Holy Rosary in Spanish! Thankful I have not forgotten the Spanish version and continue praying it today more conveniently via the prayer-app Hallow.
In our altar, we had several Catholic saints like St Dominic de Guzman, St Martin de Porres, St Francis of Assisi, St Catherine of Siena, the little Child Jesus of Prague and in the center of the altar the Holy Family (Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus).
There were also a bunch of novena booklets for almost everyday of the week: a novena to St Anthony of Padua on Tuesdays; to the Mother of Perpetual Help on Wednesdays; to St Jude on Thursdays; to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Fridays.
Sundays was reserved for the Holy Eucharist which we enjoyed celebrating in the Holy Cross Parish in our hilly town of San Juan.
