Requirement:
To link 6 separate buildings with Telephones for Intercom Usage

Each building cannot communicate with each other except to office building

There is one incoming line which only can be used by the office building

Equipment Used: Panasonic Pabx System, Model: KX-NS300 with 26 Phones

Advantages: Panasonic system enables us to connect multiple buildings using either traditional Single Line Phones (Using Copper Cable) or IP Phones (Using Network, Fiber or Wireless via WIFI).

For budget purposes, we linked all buildings via a traditional Copper Cable and installed Single Line Phones to each of the buildings.

For Call Barring, Panasonic Enables each extension to be classified in certain “Class” with enable or disable calls to be called in and out.

Each extensions can be limited to call each other or blocked for security purposes.

For the Guard House, the phone is limited to call the emergency services or to call the main office when there is a visitor.

The phone can be pre-programmed with all the emergency services number with a prefix code of 000 to 999.
I.E, if the police is prefix to 000, all the guard needs is to press 000 on the keypad and the local police number will be connected

Summary: Having a Phone System (PABX System) is a great way to utilize one or two incoming numbers and connecting number of phones altogether.

Incoming lines can be a standard analog trunk or a sophisticated SIP Trunk which utilizes Internet to call in or out.

Extensions are not limited to normal single line phones but to IP Phones which can be connected within the same network through LAN Cables or WIFI.

Calls can be easily manipulated by allowing or blocking which phones to call either as an outgoing (calling out) or intercom (calling each other).
