Why do Humans Like to Get High?

There are all kinds of anecdotal cases of an animal getting stoned or tipsy. But as we noted for the sharks getting high on small fishes or the elephants having a trip because of the marula fruit, pretty much every case humans have examined closely has found that there isn’t any evidence that these animals consume mind-altering substance because they feel good to them.
